my first blog post…ever

This is my first ever blog.  I do not have the gift of writing but I do have the passion for painting and creating artwork.  So, the grammar may not be perfect or the words flamboyant but you can count on an honest description of my journey into this new world.

I did not set out to get a website, facebook or Instagram and selling my art initially.  I just loved to paint and before I knew it I had amassed many paintings and tools for making artwork.  

My son-in-law who is a Graphic Designer gifted me with a SquareSpace website for my birthday.  I call it the birthday gift that doesn’t stop giving!!!

There are still lots of clitches for me to figure out, but I am having fun building this area of my art practice.

I will share my journey with you honestly and deeply – I hope you enjoy this story as you get to know me.
