Going to Banff for the First Time

Remembering when I drove to Banff for the first time. I was literally hanging out the window taking pictures of the mountains in utter awe!!! I am a skier - since I was 3 years old and this was the first time at age 24 that I had seen real mountains - coming from a part of Canada that just had small hills to ski on. I remember the exhilaration and utter amazement of the majesty of these mountains and upon arriving at Lake Louise to ski - I couldn’t believe the length of the ski lifts and that they were all chairs. I was used to rope tows and puma lifts - WOW!!!!! Great memories!!!
